Ranch Camp’s Guide to Safe & Happy Shopping

Well friends, with the onset of today’s loosening restrictions, we’re pretty excited to see your smiling faces at Ranch Camp, or at least infer there’s a smile behind those masks.  As we open our doors today we ask that you follow some basic guidelines that will help ensure your safety and that of our amazing staff:

BIKE SHOP

  • Ranch Camp will be operating on a limited occupancy basis as of Monday May 18, 2020.  All customers entering the building will follow directional signage similar to that used by grocery stores.
  • All customers are also required to wear both a mask and gloves at all times while inside the shop.
  • Ranch Camp will provide disposable nitrile gloves and hand sanitizer at the door, but  customers must supply their own masks.  If you don’t have a mask or or if you’re not comfortable with entering the building, just give us a call (802.253.2753) to take advantage of our curbside pickup / appointment service
  • Bike shop traffic will follow a directional pattern in order to minimize customer and staff contact: yellow arrows, signage, and some good ol’ race tape will guide you safely along your journey.
  • Ranch Camp staff will be wearing masks and gloves at all times when interfacing with customers and with one another.
  • If you’re stopping by to have some work done on your bike, please leave it in the rack outside and one of our bike wizards will come out to assess and draw up an estimate.
  • Equipment and apparel try-ons will be limited to the items we can safely and confidently disinfect after contact.
  • You may find one of our staff members greeting you at the door and asking you to wait outside in the event there are already customers inside.  We appreciate your patience and are always happy to come out to meet you and discuss bikes, equipment, the weather, or whatever’s on your mind.
Thanks for understanding as we continue to implement measures that prioritize safety and which we hope will still ensure a positive experience.  Questions?  Just give us a call: (802) 253-2753

DEMO BIKES

Ranch Camp’s unmatched demo fleet is back in action as of today, Monday May 18, 2020.  We're taking some extra precautions to make sure you can swing a leg over the new hotness without any risk of contamination:
  • Every bike will be thoroughly washed (not just wiped down) from tip to tail after every test ride.
  • Each time a bike gets ridden we’ll remove the grips and swap in a new, freshly sanitized set of grips.  Used grips will be run through the dishwasher and / or soaked in a bucket of restaurant grade sanitizer after each use.
  • For the safety of both you, our customer, as well as our staff, we will not be renting helmets at this time.  Anyone interested in demoing a bike must either provide their own helmet, or purchase a new one.
  • In order to provide our staff the chance to thoroughly wash and care for each bike after every test ride, we’ll only be offering full-day rentals at this time.
  • For parking lot tests, customers must wear nitrile gloves and a face mask.
Thanks for understanding as we continue to implement these measures that prioritize safety and which we hope will still ensure a positive experience.  Questions?  Just give us a call: (802) 253-2753

FOOD SERVICE

  • Ranch Camp will continue serving the community with our healthy, local, fast-casual comfort food and will remain open for pickup and delivery seven days / week.  At this time food service is still limited to pickup and delivery and we will not be allowing customers inside of the bar / restaurant.
  • Food orders can now be picked up under the green tent located opposite the main bike shop entrance on the south end of the building.  This will help us to minimize congregating and foot traffic at the main entrance.
  • The operational portion of the restaurant will remain blocked and inaccessible to bike customers. Measures have been taken to ensure total separation between the bike shop customers and food service employees and all food service is situated at an isolated location outside the view or contact of customers.
  • All Ranch Camp food service employees have passed their VOSHA training and all kitchen staff have passed their Serve Safe certification.  We’re confident in our ability to continue to serve the community and we’re grateful for the trust you’ve put in us during these uncertain times.
Thanks for understanding as we continue to implement measures that prioritize safety and which we hope will still ensure a positive experience.  Questions?  Just give us a call: (802) 253-2753
